TGIWednesday: Where’s the ketchup?

As friends often do, my litigator buddy often chides me and jokes around.  A month ago he was in our kitchen looking for ketchup and I said, “It’s in the refrigerator.”  And he said, “Oh you’re one of those!” as if I was in some splinter cell conspiracy group that had to have ketchup in the fridge! 🥫🍅

As time passed, he asked again for ketchup and this time I had it sitting out in plain sight!  He said, “Oh you’re one of those that keeps it out of the refrigerator.” 🥶 Really? Okay, obviously he has the memory of a fish! 🐠 So now I have some in the refrigerator, in the pantry and on the kitchen island in plain sight. 👀  I envision his disheveled bachelor pad beach condo with tiny packets of fast-food ketchup strewn far and wide.

Right now you can think of a partner, relative or friend that acts this ridiculous.  It never was about the ketchup!  Some people are challenging and like to bitch and stir things up 🥄🍥 and really enjoy the back and forth.

Either they’re bored, ate up by the stupid or just like to have something to fight about! 🥊🤼 As much as you can, keep people that drain your energy at arm’s length.  You don’t have to be mean, but the goal is for you to be more Zen 😌🧘🏻 and in the flow in your communications as well as your life.  Less division, more Barry White remember? 🎵
