Legends of the Fall 📽️ is a great movie to watch with spectacular scenery and deep characters enduring life long struggles. I can hardly compare that with my city life, but one morning several years ago, as I got ready for my daily visit to LA Fitness 🏋️♂️ 🏊♂️ with hands full, I turned around to pull the side door closed🚪. As I did, I lost my balance and fell off the steps 🪜 and went sprawling onto the driveway with a smack!💥 It knocked the wind out of me but I didn’t think anything was broken and I didn’t see blood.👍🏼
I layed there for a minute and thought, well I can call 911 🚑 and tell them, “Come help the guy wearing the hawaiian shirt 🌺 laying in the driveway!” But then I was like wait a minute… I can do this – and I then I started fishing 🎣 for just a minute. Then I stood up and said, “I’m still going to LA Fitness.” After I took about 3 steps my thought then was, “Nope, that’s not happening, no working out for me today.”
It took about 6 months to clear the soreness, body aches and lingering pains that I attributed to that fall with lotions 🧴, potions, chiropractors, 🥼 acupuncturist and of course fishing 🎣. I say delicately, as we “mature” it can take longer to heal; to get back on line.
The real news is that today I feel more tapped into Spirit than ever before – my fishing is faster, deeper ⚓, more grounded, zen-like 😌 and yet more on point! I even discontinued offering one hour sessions in order to contribute to more folks that really do need guidance and healing 🛟 and who have quandaries and dilemmas to be decided.
The veil is thinning. We have more access to more healing mysticism and alchemy than ever before. Know that you can draw from all that is with fishing and, by all means, join us for tomorrow’s Zoom 💻 gathering of fishermen.
