Last week was rough. A blood red full moon , remembering the 9/11 tragedy and on that same day my father passed 10 years ago. Sprinkle in the shocking Charlie Kirk shooting and you’ve got some heavy energy swirling in and around – not just for me, but even those that aren’t aware of any of these events. We can all feel the sadness and sorrow in the collective ethers and that can bring up unexplained energies that we need to shift during sessions.
The only thing I can guarantee you is death, taxes and change. Life will go much smoother if you choose to embrace change and not resist it. And like I saw during my NDE, our loved ones in spirit want us to be at peace, grounded, zen-like and always contributing to others while we are here navigating this life.
The term for the brass band at a New Orleans funeral is part of a “jazz funeral”, a tradition that includes a marching band playing a dirge (mournful songs) for the journey to the grave and joyful music on the return. The group of people following the band is known as the second line, and together, the band and second line form the funeral procession. I told my sons that I want to be cremated and have a wake where everyone wears Hawaiian shirts and there’s plenty of food and drinks! Life is precious and fleeting and should be celebrated.
Concentrating with soft focus on health should be this month’s focus. Eat cleaner , drink plenty of H20 and get off the couch and exercise in one form or another every single day. Be relentless in your pursuit to get better, healthier, stronger , more encouraging and kinder to others. If you’re not motivated to do it for yourself, do it for the energy of those people, places, pets, and situations that you love. Contribute to your favorite cause and don’t hesitate to reach out to your loved ones in spirit . I believe they hear us, they watch over us and we all need encouragement to be our best selves, now more than ever.
