In the early morning hours is where I find solace and comfort and where Spirit seems to chat at a more audible level especially when I am working on the prayer list of My Daily Prayer subscribers. And it was no surprise this week when it seemed like all events fell into place. And as my sweet mother used to say, “Everything’s coming up roses.”
Sandy and I grabbed some lunch in hopes of recapping the year passed and discussing the year ahead. When we pulled into the restaurant parking area there was only one spot left and it was the first one! (meant for us). We had an awesome sparkly waitress who at the end of the meal asked us if we were frequent dining points members and yes we have the rewards card but haven’t eaten at this place in over 6 months. Riley was kind enough to check our points in the back and returned with more good news that our meals would be 100% free with redeemed points!
We looked at each other puzzled as to how? what? Then we smiled because we both knew how, and kindly thanked Spirit for the fun. Of course we then HAD to leave her a giant tip to pay it forward.
