TGIWednesday: Father knows best

My mother was sainted and baked, cooked and cleaned and often told my brother and me, “You’re fantastic and can achieve anything you set your mind to.”  By contrast if my father had a bad day at work, he’d come home and say, “Help me take my belt off.”  I was determined to be more like mom and less like dad when it came to my children.

Regardless of what you learned from your father figure, we can learn a lot from both good and bad role models.  Know that as you read this now, the very best of spirit energy is flowing in, around and through you now. May the rest of your life be the best of your life and remember to make progress every day!

Allow the heavenly father energy to flow in, around and through me here and now. I can experience holidays knowing that the ultimate dad, father figure for me is our heavenly father.

Negative items to clear as samples: Allow me to forgive my father for all that he did to me and all that he did not do for me. I now see my life as rising out of the ashes and instead of shaking my fist at God, I am now humbled by feeling his presence. I am releasing all the guilt and shame around missing my father’s passing and know now that yes he can still hear me.
