No, not Waldo! Oslo! And I had to ponder about that as I lay in bed while my phone kept dinging. It wasn’t a credit card, it was my actual bank account balance linked debit card! I was dripping with terror and every few minutes I’d get notifications of new purchases.

First it was Walmart $500 in New York (I’m in Florida) and then, it was $1,100 for a laptop and then a deposit hold charge for a luxury hotel in Oslo! I jumped out of bed and thought, I’m not calling the bank , I’m going in there!

Once I explained the situation to the banker he grinned trying not to laugh after I said, “Whomever this is, they’re having way more fun than me.” We unwound it and got the funding back, but this is my own personal true story!
