So during the month of October and in honor of Halloween , we’re going to chit chat and clear darker energies in our everyday lives! Pirates are male figures that in the past or currently are making our lives more fearful (remember the acronym for fear is False Evidence Appearing Real).
Some of them are subtle, underhanded and may ignore you or plot against you while others are more aggressive and abusive, physically, mentally, verbally. Maybe they did or are rolling their eyes over our beliefs and how we’re living our lives. They all appear dressed as pirates to me at least energetically, with a knife in their teeth and they are ready to take advantage of us any chance they get.
Even when I was in highschool, I could be doing math homework and I would hear my father slam the front door and shout, “Play time’s over!” I’m like, “WTH“ That was your sign you were going to be screamed at or if it was a really bad day he’d say, “Help me take my belt off.” It took decades to get past that and the real relief was when he passed! It may sound harsh but as my therapist friend said of my pirate father, “It’s going to get worse over time and then one day it will stop” and I was like oooooohhhh he means when he’s gone!
He was right! I sobbed when they told me my father passed but then I felt like an oxen yoke was lifted off of my shoulders! It was wild and something I will always remember.
Which pirate is casting a shadow over your life? A relative, boss, co-worker or fair-weather friend? Let’s see that lifting here and now and allow yourself to deflect the harsh treatments and know that they are just scared bully’s lashing out.
