As we sail on through the holidays it’s hard to believe we’re already at Halloween time ! After speaking with clients worldwide for decades, a real trend I’ve noticed is people mixing up fear vs. excitement .
Often we may be terrified to go to that job interview, go on that first date or get on the stage or podium or be seen in front of the masses. But if we’re prepared, we need to remind ourselves that we’re not caught up in fear but rather excitement
The late Richard Bartlett, best known for Matrix Energetics, wanted me to speak before 600+ people at a 5 star hotel event in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. I was like, “Uh, no thank you.” And he said, “Oh, I’m going to call you up – so plan on it!” In my head I was thinking – omg how do you follow him? And a voice inside said, “You don’t! You just do your own thing.” And I made it, here I am… still alive to talk about it.
