So today at the gym, this young man cleaned the hot tub within an inch of its life and as he left LA Fitness he waved goodbye to us and those working out there. I went through my routine and looked forward to taking a dip in it since it was clean.
After my workout I rounded the corner by the pool to find a distraught woman sitting in the hot tub with no bubbles. I said, “Do you want me to turn on the jets?” her eyes were bloodshot and on fire. “You can FN try but the thing isn’t working. No jets, no bubbles, no heat, nothing! And I really rely on this to help my hips and back” She said this through a raised voice as if she were talking above the noise of rushing water or as if I worked there and was responsible for this tragedy. So clearly the nice pool guy who took his time and meticulously cleaned it so well, forget just one thing before leaving; making sure it worked.
